The Return of Pretty Toney

Ghostface's latest album Apollo Kids definitely was worth waiting all year. Released on the 21st of December, this album barely made it into 2010.  However, Tony Starks returns with the gritty raps and rhymes that we all love him for. His raw emotion carries over the loops of soul samples on this album. This is definitely a return to the classic Wu sound that the game has been missing. Ghost definitely proves that he is still one of the best in the game with this effort. Almost every song on this album contains a sample, and yet each song is surprisingly fresh. The sample on "2gether baby" is amazing and is one of my favorites. "Troublemakers" makes you ask yourself if you're listening to Enter the 36 Chambers with it's throwback feel. This album definitely deserves a listen. Ghostface proves how effective raw rap can be with this effort and marks the return of Mr. Starks.
